Why john1hud?

Basic geneology takes us to John James Huddleston who was born in 1863. His son's (John Mayer Huddleston) son is John Huddleston of Caterham - known within the family as John, John1, Dad, Grandad or Greatgrandad.

John1 has two sons Frank Anthony and (surprise) John (also known as John2, Dad or 'can you fix this'). More about John2 at www.huddleston.co.uk or www.john2hud.co.uk or even his silver work site - www.jhsilver.co.uk.

Frank has two sons, Richard and John (Edward) also known as John3 or 'I've bought one last year - it's in the loft now'

John2 has a daughter, Jo(anna), and a son - you guessed - John (James) also known as John4 or 'It wasn't me'.

John 1 has a brother Cyril.

Cyril has a daughter, Christine, and two sons, Geoffrey and David.

Geoffrey has a daughter, Laura, and a son John - on rare occasions also known as John5.
